Funding call to protect crops in low-income countries
Protection of crops from pests and disease in low-income countries is a key focus of the latest round of funding calls from The Global Grand Challenges programme, run by The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
One of the three key challenges for which proposals are sought during this round of funding is ‘Tools and Technologies for Broad-Scale Disease Surveillance of Crop Plants in Low-Income Countries.’ Applications are now open, and will run until 2 May 2018.
