The core CONNECTED philosophy is that we can solve the problems of vector-borne crop disease by creating and maintaining a strong global network of researchers. Through ongoing networking activities, including conferences, seminars and outreach, we continue to amass and leverage international expertise within an engaged and collaborative network of professionals.

The Network

The CONNECTED Network has developed a multidisciplinary network of 1,500 members in over 80 countries, mainly in Sub-Saharan Africa. The network brings together plant pathologists and entomologists.

It provides opportunities for multidisciplinary collaborations between researchers, through in-person and online conferences and training events. The network also provides resources for researchers to share with their own audiences.
