Ento ’19: CONNECTED workshop confirmed
The focus of this year’s three-day event (20-22 August), which takes place at London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine is “Vectors of diseases”.
Entitled “Learning from international collaborations in vector-borne disease: GCRF perspectives from the CONNECTED Network” the workshop will involve UK and Africa-based recipients of Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) funding from the CONNECTED network providing practical perspectives and experiences in setting up and running international collaborations in vector-borne plant disease research.
The session will explore how national and international regulatory systems interface with research, policy, and end users, with discussions about the opportunities and challenges of bringing research findings from lab to field. It takes place on the afternoon of Wednesday 21 August.
People interested in attending can register for all three days, or for one day only.
The abstract submission deadline is 31 May 2019.
